5.5 The debugging

By the parameter-controlled process processing, the SIS is able to compensate many errors automatically. Thiscan be configurated for each process by the setting "Behaviour in case of errors".

The following options can be selected:

"Immediately repeat implementation completely once"

In case, an error occurs during the processing, the complete implementation will immediately be repeated identically. Thereby, a delay of 1 minute will be applied.

"Immediately repeat implementation differentially once"

In case of an error, this value generates a queue entry with a delay of 1 minute from the type "Repitition". It receives as parameter, the ID of the current queue entry which saves the list of the failed records. The process implementation will read out the precedent and only process these records targeted.

"Add records for next planned implementation"

This value conditions an active time-controlling. In case of an error, the next planned implementation receives as parameter, the ID of the current queue entry which saves the list of the failed records. The process implementation will read out the precdent and process these records together with the current changed records.

"Ignore errors"

With this configuration, the error will just be recorded and if applicable emailed. The process processing will not be changed in case of an error. Especially for mass processes like updating turnover figures, this is useful in order to optimise the performance.

"Not enqueue implementation again"

This stops the continuous implementation of this process permanently. A manual activation of the time-control is then required. An active reactivation system of the SIS would regenerate the queue entry.

Another debugging is valid for the individual transfer as no continuous implementation is available here. An error during the individual transfer generates a queue entry with a delay of one minute of the type "Repitition" for the current record. This error repitition will only be implemented once. In case, the repitition will also fail, the record will not further be processed.

Each error can be reported by email from the SIS. For this purpose, the emailing needs to be configurated in the server characteristics.
