1 Installation of the integration

Files

The following file will be required in order to install the SIS.

"crmk_SisCrm.zip" is a CRM component which installs the basic features inclusive ERP focus in CRM.
This component will also be installed again when upgrading the Version.

"crmk_SisCrmOL.zip" or "crmk_SisCrmSNC.zip" are CRM components for the integration of a certain ERP System.

Specific panels and meta data will be set up in CRM. When upgrading the version, a reinstallation is not required.

"OfficeLineSetup.exe" will be used for the set up of the integration to Sage 100 / Office Line.

This setup needs to be implemented on the application server of Sage 100 / Office Line and generates new terminal points in the application server.
This setup needs to be installed again when upgrading the version or Office Line.

Furthermore, the implementation needs to be repeated for each Sage 100 / Office Line data base which needs to be integrated.

The files "Setup.exe" and "SisSetupLight.msi" install the SIS server and the SIS administrator. The MSI-file is thereby specific for one ERP System.

Sage 100 / Office Line

You implement the file "OfficeLineSetup.exe" on the Sage 100 / Office Line application server in order to set up the communication terminal points for the SIS. During the installation the application server will be restarted.

Please provide the access points for the data base which needs to be integrated and select the available Sage 100 / Office Line version.

Through the installation, the change tracking of the SQL server for this data base will be activated and several tables will be selected for the tracking.

In order that the SIS can use the terminal points, you require a Sage 100 / Office Line license which includes the external use of the application server. This will be available after ordering the integration.

In order that you can use the feature for connecting proofs and opportunities in Sage 100 / Office Line, you need to configurate the CRM connection in the administrator.

Sage CRM

In order that the active elements (e. g. ERP focus) can be used in CRM, the .Net Framework 4.0 needs to be selected for the application pool of the CRM. You can configurate this with the IIS manager. In most modern infrastructures, this already needs to be set up.

Import the both CRM components using the component manager to the CRM. Start with the installation of the basic component "crmk_SisCrm.zip".

The following parameters can be determined during the installation:

Number of mandatesIf you are synchronising several mandates with one CRM, a connection status (panel SIS status) will be required in the CRM for each mandate. The component generates the required panels in the CRM according to the indicated number.
Use ERP account entity

The account entity of the SIS can be used for the display by several current accounts or mandates as records to a company. The entity and all meta data will be set up for the usage with "Yes".

Regenerate SIS meta dataThis parameter generates transfer screens, register cards, buttons and translations in the CRM. If this one needs to be adapted and not reset by an update, set the value to "No".
Record new panels in standard masks New recorded panels will hereby be inserted in the input mask of company and person. The screen will thereby not overwriten which is why the positioning needs to be verified afterwards.
Record account number in transfer screen Dependent on the integrated ERP system, a range of numbers for account numbers can be provided at the first transfer. Hereby, the required panel will be recorded in the screen.
Sage 100 / Office Line Set up proof transfer For the proof transfer, panels will be generated for offer as well as order and start screens will be updated. For instance for the pricing feature or the default of price lists from company or account.
Sage 100 / Office Line Set up a bank accountThe new entity bank account and meta data will be generated or updated. The synchronisation is currently only possible with Office Line 2014.
Sage 100 / Office Line Set up projects to opportunities The entity opportunity will be prepared for the synchronisation with projects. The synchronisation is currently only possible with Office Line 2014 and 2015.
Sage 100 / Office Line Set up projects to CRM projects An entity project will be prepared for the synchronisation with projects. The entity project already needs to be available. The synchronisation is currently only possible with Office Linke 2014 and 2015.

Afterwards, you install the meta data component for your ERP system. Please find here an example of Sage 100 / Office Line:

Use ERP account entityAccount or mandate specific panels will be generated in the available SIS account entity, if "Yes" has been selected. The panels will be generated at the company with "No".
Adapt panel length of standard panels The capacity of text panels will be enlarged if required to the length of Office Line. Without this adaptation, erros might appear in the synchronisation as data might not completely be saved in the CRM.
Regenerate SIS meta dataDifferent translations and selection groups will be generated for the ERP focus with this parameter.
Record new panels in standard masks New generated panels will hereby be inserted in the input masks of company and person. The screen will thereby not be overwriten which is why the positioning needs to be verified afterwards.

Sage New Classic / Sage Wincarat / Sage 50

No separate setup is required for these ERP systems.

Sage CRM Integration Server

You install the SIS using the "Setup.exe" from the installation files. This sets up the SIS winsdows service and the SIS administrator on the server. After a successful installation, the windows service will automatically be started.

This setup can also be used directly for upgrades. In this case, the windows service needs to be deactivated before implementing the setup.

The windows service will be set up with the standard registration "local system". The SIS requires an online access for its license verification. If this is not possible, the synchronisation cannot be started.

Afterwards, you start the SIS administrator and continue with the configuration.

The default setting of the registration screen corresponds to the standard configuration and can be used for the first registration.
